I am a mixed media artist based in Gloucester and specialise in freehand Pyrography pictures, soft pastel artwork and abstract paintings .

Pyrography- the art of burning pictures on to wood -  was popularised in Victorian times but was a much older craft known for many centuries before then as "Pokerwork".

I take my inspiration from nature and the British wildlife and also my love of poetry and how emotive words can be inspirational for developing abstract, personal pieces of art.

I have exhibited and sold pieces in 2018 SOMAC - Summer of  Music Art and Culture - in Gloucester.

I will be exhibiting some of my work in Gloucester Museum's 'Community Exhibition Area'.
